The Challenge
A 60-bed private hospital in Tamil Nadu was managing patient registration, OPD scheduling and billing entirely on paper. Front desk staff were writing patient details by hand in registers. Doctors had no way to access patient history quickly. Billing took 15-20 minutes per discharge because staff were manually totalling procedure costs.
The hospital was also running three separate software tools - one for pharmacy, one for lab and one for billing - that did not talk to each other. Every day, data had to be manually transferred between systems.

The Result
Within 3 months of go-live, the hospital saw measurable changes. OPD wait time dropped from an average of 35 minutes to 21 minutes. Discharge billing time went from 15-20 minutes to under 4 minutes. Billing errors - which had previously cost the hospital around 8,000-15,000 rupees per month in disputes - dropped to zero.
